SCERA Office

Published:  June 1, 2021

The SCERA front lobby is now open to drop off documents, pick up forms, and for will call items only.  Masks still must be worn when in our building and only two members at a time can be in our lobby.  Although many of you may receive the vaccine, SCERA will not completely reopen to our members until the Public Health Office assures us that it is safe to do so for both our vaccinated and unvaccinated members.

If you have questions, please contact the SCERA staff person directly that you have been working with or call our main line (707-565-8100) to be transferred.  SCERA will not meet with you on a drop-in basis.  Your SCERA contact will schedule an appointment if they feel that one is needed.

We encourage you to use your MySCERA account and the website as much as possible to find the information that you need.

In addition, our forms can be found on our website by clicking on the Forms and Publications link on the left hand menu.

SCERA has limited the size of our seminars to ensure social distancing.  You can enroll in our seminars using your MySCERA account.  In the event that we increase our attendance size, it is best to waitlist for the seminar you wish to attend.

If you are retiring within a year please remember attending a seminar is not a requirement. Seminars are informational only.

In the meantime, both the Planning to Retire Seminar packet and Path to Retirement Seminar packet can be found on the main Seminar page. Additional information is also available on our website.

Board / Committee meetings will continue to be held virtually until we receive clearance from the Public Health Office and the Governor’s office removes the order allowing for meetings to be held virtually.

We thank you for your continued understanding.
