The 2018 Combined Fund Drive (CFD) has begun and will continue through November 16, 2018. Now is your opportunity to say “Laissez les bons temps rouler” or “Let the good times roll” by donating to the nonprofits you are most passionate about.
The theme for this year's campaign is, "Laissez les bons temps rouler"! This theme conveys the idea we are a county moving through recovery from last year's wildfires into a new day when we are ready again for the good times to roll! Your gift in this year's campaign will help us reach our goal of $300,000 and allow those benefiting from your gift to move forward and roll into a brighter future.
You can contribute to any 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whether it is listed on the enclosed pledge form or not. A one-time donation, or a monthly automatic deduction from your retirement check, makes the Combined Fund Drive one of the easiest and most flexible ways to support our community. For a list of some of the organizations available to direct your gift, visit the Combined Fund website at sonomacounty.ca.gov/donation/.
Last year, Sonoma County Retirees contributed more than $41,000, and we would like to do even better this year! Even a donation of just $10 per month will enable nonprofits to provide home-delivered meals, mobile health clinics, food for hungry residents, research for curing cancer, and so much more.
Please mail your completed pledge form to the SCERA office in the envelope provided by November 16, 2018. If you are making a one-time donation by check, make it payable to: County of Sonoma Employee Combined Fund Drive.
