Certified Public Accountants RFP

The Sonoma County Employees’ Retirement Association (SCERA) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants (Auditors) to audit its financial statements for three years beginning with the calendar year ending December 31, 2023, with the option of extending the contract for two (2) additional years, at SCERA’s sole discretion.  These audits will be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the standards for financial audits set forth in the U.S. Government Accountability Office’s, Government Auditing Standards, and the “Minimum Audit Requirements and Reporting Guidelines for California Public Retirement Systems” issued by the California State Controller.  The bidders will submit one original, one electronic version and five hard copies of the proposal and any related information to be received at SCERA’s office by 5:00 PM on September 29, 2023.
