This message is to assure you that your retirement benefits are not impacted by the recent news regarding Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and any similarly situated financial institutions.  SCERA does not have a banking relationship with any of these financial institutions.  As a reminder, your pension benefits are guaranteed.  They are based upon years of service, age at retirement and salary at retirement and the amount is not affected by what happens in the banking world.
