Vision Service Plan

Vision coverage is available to all retirees through VSP. For a description of the benefit available, go to scera.vspforme.com. You may enroll at the time of retirement, or during open enrollment each year for a June 1 effective date. Coverage is at retiree cost, and is available for all retirees and eligible dependents. You do not need to be eligible for employer covered health care in retirement to enroll in the VSP plan. For information on this benefit contact VSP at (800) 400-4569.

The CareCounsel Healthcare Assistance Program is provided by the County of Sonoma, and is available to County employees and retirees who are eligible for or enrolled in any County-sponsored health plan. CareCounsel is a benefit advocate service to help you get the best out of your health plans and to help you access the care you desire.
